Hi! My names Shantel and I’ve been an Early Childhood Educator since 2013! I graduated from Langara college with a diploma in Early childhood education and later specialized in Infant and Toddler and Special needs education. I have had the honour of teaching adult ECE college courses and consider myself a life long learner as I am constantly diving into workshops to stay up to date on the latest practices. I love working with the 3-5 age group as they are so curious and their imaginations amaze me. I feel so honoured to help shape little minds and provide a fun, creative and inclusive space for their first introduction into school! In my spare time you can find me exploring our community with my husband and son, Enzo, traveling and spending time with family.

Hi! My names Darby and I have been working in early childhood education since 2019! I graduated from Queen’s University in 2018 and recently completed my diploma in early childhood education from UBC.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working in the 3-5 age group and getting to know each child and family who have come through our program while collaborating with my fellow educators to create a rich and inclusive learning environment. A few of my favourite things to do outside of work include long walks with my dog, spending time with my family and friends and traveling. My favourite colour is purple and my favourite children’s story is Be Kind by Pat Zietlow Miller.
