Our teachers are qualified early childhood educators who have enjoyed working together. They believe in fostering autonomy, self confidence, and self esteem through play and exploration. All staff feel strongly about the importance of positive guidance and strive to be accepting, responsive and supportive to the children in their care.

Owner/Early Childhood Educator
Hi! My names Shantel and I’ve been an Early Childhood Educator since 2013! I graduated from Langara college with a diploma in Early childhood education and later specialized in Infant and Toddler and Special needs education. I have had the honour of teaching adult ECE college courses and consider myself a life long learner as I am constantly diving into workshops to stay up to date on the latest practices. I love working with the 3-5 age group as they are so curious and their imaginations amaze me. I feel so honoured to help shape little minds and provide a fun, creative and inclusive space for their first introduction into school! In my spare time you can find me exploring our community with my husband and kids, traveling and spending time with family.

Hi! I'm Miss. Alex. I began my journey in early childhood education in 2014 and quickly discovered my passion for teaching preschool children. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching young minds grow, learn, and explore the world around them. I especially love seeing how play sparks their curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Each day brings new discoveries, and being a part of that process continues to inspire and fulfill me. Hi! I’m Miss. Brandy. I have my Bachelors of Education and Degree in Kinesiology from UBC. I have been teaching since 2014 and joined the little friends family in 2023. In my free time you can find me at my kids sports and camping with my family! I love seeing the world through the children’s eyes as they explore and learn new things

Hi! I’m Miss. Jess. I am a 1-1 support worker at preschool. I love providing a warm and welcoming for all children to thrive in. Before joining the little friends family I was an EA working in the school district. In my free time you can find me with my family (including my dog Crosby.)
